The Twin City Players established the Brian Swiger Memorial Scholarship in 1996 in memory of former member Brian Swiger. Scholarships (up to $1,500) are earmarked for seniors graduating from Berrien County high schools who have demonstrated a strong interest in theater-related activities during their academic careers. Winners, however, can use the award money to pursue any field of study at any accredited college, university, trade school or arts education institution.

Applications can be downloaded using the link below or by calling Twin City Players at 269-429-0400, requesting an application and leaving your name, email, and phone number. Applications should be mailed to Twin City Players, PO Box 243, St. Joseph, Michigan 49085. Applications must be received no later than March 31st. Previously the scholarship has been awarded based upon school and community activities, TCP involvement, grade point average of 2.5 or better and a short essay. The recipient(s) is announced in late May or early June.

2023 Recipient Eni Buckhanan

​Eni Buckhanan is a homeschool graduate who was dual enrolled for most of high school, including making Dean's List at Lake Michigan College for multiple years, and inducted into LMC's honors society Phi Theta Kappa. Eni has participated in many theatres in the area, including Children's Music Workshop, Lake Michigan College, GhostLight, The Tin Shop, and of course, Twin City Players. They often can be found costuming, and have also been props master, stage crew, stage manager, and actor thus far. Eni has also danced for all of high school, in many different styles, and was part of the inaugural class of Dance Arts' Teaching Conservatory. They will be pursuing a BFA in technical theatre as an honors student at Western Michigan University this fall.
