Brian Swiger Memorial Scholarship
The Twin City Players established the Brian Swiger Memorial Scholarship in 1996 in memory of former member Brian Swiger. Scholarships (up to $1,500) are earmarked for seniors graduating from Berrien County high schools who have demonstrated a strong interest in theater-related activities during their academic careers. Winners, however, can use the award money to pursue any field of study at any accredited college, university, trade school or arts education institution.
Applications are handled through the Berrien Community Foundation, www.berriencommunity.org
2026 Recipient Keeli Frank
Keeli Frank is attending Calvin University to study Special Education - K-12 Cognitive Impairment. Since she was seven years old, theater has been a part of her life. From singing in school variety shows to performing full length musicals in high school, she loves losing herself in different characters. She hopes to take the arts into her future classroom, showing the kids that are usually forgotten or overlooked that creativity can change the circumstances we live in and make the world beautiful. She hopes to help every one of her students find their voice, and feels so blessed that theater helped her find hers.
