About the play...

“Much Ado About Nothing” (MAAN) is timeless in its construction & the epitome of the Rom-Com and as such is easily accessible by a wide range of audiences and readily transported to varying times and places.

The last time we directed this piece we placed the story in the USA during the Vietnam Era and interspersed music of the time for mood and texture. While our intent is to use the original Shakspearian text, the consensus of the production team is to place this rendition of MAAN in the Roaring 20’s - Midwest USA. This will create a unique series of costuming and scenic opportunities that the team is excited to offer the community.

We can't wait for the community to audition and for our ensemble to bring you this fresh take on a classic.
